Arts party planned Saturday on Carnegie’s behalf

BEMIDJI – The Region 2 Arts Council is hosting a Coffee Party at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Historical Carnegie Library.

The party is an attempt to advocate for the arts.

Sen. Tom Saxhaug, DFL-Grand Rapids, plans to attend. Artists and arts advocates are encouraged to attend to express the powerful impact arts funding has on the community. Rolls and coffee will be provided.
