Park Rapids arts downtown continues

PARK RAPIDS — The arts downtown series continues from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at four locations in downtown Park Rapids: Beagle Books, Bella Caffè, The Good Life Cafe and Necce’s Ristorante. There is no admission charge.  

Opera scheduled at Bemidji Amigo Theater

BEMIDJI — Opera HD presents the “Cavalleria Rusticana” by Mascagni and “I Pagliacci” by Leoncavallo from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bemidji Theater, 5284 Theatre Lane.

The two operas are traditionally presented together and complement one another.

Oxcars awards set

BEMIDJI — The second annual Oxcars Gala Awards will be held at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Hondo and Suzi’s Dance Studios, 1259 Tyler Ave. SW.

The awards and featured entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m.

January Jubilee set in Duluth

DULUTH — The Arrowhead Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will host the January Jubilee with the showing of Charlie Chaplin’s silent film, “The Circus,” 7 p.m. Jan. 24 at First Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Superior St., Duluth.

The jubilee continues with a conference for the part time church musician with nine educational workshops at First Lutheran Church.
