BEMIDJI – The public’s help is being sought in finding a local artist’s sculpture stolen from the corner of Beltrami Avenue and Sixth Street Northwest.

The sculpture, Cosmic Spheres, was created by Roger Loyson and was being displayed as part of Bemidji’s Sculpture Walk.

Bemidji police found the sculpture damaged at 2:18 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release issued Monday evening.

On Monday morning, the sculpture was missing.

Anyone with information about the damage or theft of the sculpture is asked to call the Bemidji Police Department at (218) 333-9111.
