Area ski trail conditions

Lake Bemidji State Park: Trails are expected to be groomed by the weekend and are experiencing the late-winter freeze/thaw conditions. NOTE: Lake Bemidji State Park has 16-km of double classical tracks and is listed as easy to intermediate. It also has a new 2-km skate lane along the paved bike trail.

Montebello Trail: Trails were expected to be groomed Thursday. NOTE: Montebello Trail has 2-km of lighted skate and classical track and is listed as easy.

Movil Maze: Trails were groomed Tuesday and are fast. NOTE: Movil Maze has 14-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as intermediate to expert.

Hobson Forest: Trails were scheduled to be groomed Thursday. NOTE: Hobson Forest has 7-km of double classical tracks and is listed as easy to intermediate.

Three Island County Park: Trails were last groomed Feb. 11 but may be groomed again prior to the weekend. NOTE: Three Island has more than 20-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as easy to intermediate.

Buena Vista: West side was combed Sunday. Trails are in good condition but officials warn that they are very fast and urge caution by the skiers. NOTE: Buena Vista has 25-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as intermediate to expert.

Fern Lake: Trails may be groomed by the weekend.

BHS Nordic Trail: Trails were scheduled to be groomed Wednesday and skiing is listed as good.
