Lake Bemidji State Park: Trails were groomed and tracked on Monday and are in good condition. NOTE: Lake Bemidji State Park has 16-km of double classical tracks and is listed as easy to intermediate.

Montebello Trail: Scheduled to be groomed Friday for Saturday's BHS Montebello Relays. Lights are on until 10 p.m. but no bathroom facilities until City warming building is opened. It is easy to see the trail during night skiing. NOTE: Montebello Trail has 2-km of lighted skate and classical track and is listed as easy.

Movil Maze: Was scheduled to be groomed Thursday. Skiers report very good skiing. NOTE: Movil Maze has 14-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as intermediate to expert.

Hobson Forest: Was groomed Tuesday. The swamp is frozen so the entire trail is accessible. Some knee-slappers on the island but, overall, very good classical skiing. New map plan is on the agenda. NOTE: Hobson Forest has 7-km of double classical tracks and is listed as easy to intermediate.

Three Island County Park: Trails at north and south ends are groomed. Middle section is signed and ungroomed due to logging. Skiers report good to very good skiing. Track has set up well. NOTE: Three Island has more than 20-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as easy to intermediate.

Buena Vista: Buena Vista is a work in progress. West side (through the culvert) is open for skating but classical is iffy. East side is not skiable. NOTE: Buena Vista has 25-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as intermediate to expert.

Fern Lake: Was groomed Dec. 10 and skiing is good.

BHS Nordic Trail: Very good skiing and good classical track. May have some touch-up work before the weekend if needed. NOTE: Trail access is behind the high school at the west end by the maintenance building. Minnesota ski pass is needed unless you are a Bemidji School District student.

Trail update reports are provided by the Bemidji Area Cross Country Ski Club and The Home Place Bike & Ski Shop
