Area man graduates Marine Corps training

BEMIDJI – Area native Pfc. Timothy J. Hodapp, 23, graduated from Marine Corps recruit training Aug. 3 in San Diego, earning him the title of U.S. Marine.

As part of the training, Hodapp learned and practiced military drills, customs and courtesies. Martial arts, marksmanship, first-aid and leadership training was also part his stay in San Diego.

Hodapp is a 2008 graduate of Bemidji High School. He was enlisted by Staff Sgt. Michael McCabe from the Marine Corps recruiting of-fice in Duluth.
