Area cross country ski trails report

Lake Bemidji State Park: Trails were packed on Monday and tracked on Tuesday. Conditions are very good. NOTE: The Lake Bemidji State Park trail system includes 16 kilometers of double classical tracks and is listed as easy to intermediate.

Montebello Trail: Trails were groomed and tracked on Tuesday. The new section needs more snow. Conditions are low-snow good. NOTE: The Montebello Trail system includes a skate lane and classical track plus more than two kilometers of lighted trails. The trails are listed as easy.

Movil Maze: The trails were rolled Monday and tracked Wednesday. Tracks are set and conditions are very good. NOTE: The Movil Maze system includes 14 kilometers of skate lane and classical track. The trails are listed as intermediate to expert.

Hobson Forest: Trails were groomed and tracked Tuesday. Conditions are low-snow good. NOTE: The Hobson Forest system includes seven kilometers of double classical tracks. The trails are listed as easy to intermediate.

Three Island County Park: Trails have been groomed and tracks are set. There are a few spots under the pines that need more snow. Snow is soft but conditions are very good. NOTE: The Three Island Park system includes more than 20 kilometers of skate lane and classical track. The trails are listed as easy to intermediate.

Buena Vista: The trails on the West Side have been rolled. The system remains a work in progress. NOTE: The Buena Vista trail system includes 25 kilometers of skate lane and classical track. The trails are listed as intermediate to expert.

BHS Nordic Trail: Trails were groomed on Sunday and a classical track has been set. Conditions are very good.

Fern Lake: Trails were groomed Tuesday. Trails are skiable but conditions warrant more snow.

Lavinia Section 36: The system offers back-country skiing and no report is available.
