Applebee's collects Backpacks for Education

Applebee's collected Backpacks for Education and donated them to the Bemidji Community Food Shelf for distribution to their clients. Roy Blackwood and Sarah Wetzel, volunteers at the food shelf, accept more than 60 backpacks from Tim Boston, manager of the Bemidji Applebee's. Customers who brought backpacks filled with school supplies to Applebee's through Saturday, Aug. 15, received a free appetizer with their meal. Submitted Photo
