Annual MHAS meeting May 6 at Science Center

BEMIDJI - The annual meeting of the Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society will be May 6 at the Headwaters Science Center.

The keynote speaker will be Darby Nelson, an aquatic biologist and author.

Nelson is scheduled to speak around 4 p.m. At 5 p.m. the social and meeting will begin. Among the agenda items are issuing awards to various volunteers, the annual report on the club's activities and the election of the board members.

Registration for the event ($10 adults and $5 for children under 16), should be made prior to April 30.
