Ann Driscoll Mondt, 43, of Clearbrook, formerly of East Grand Forks, Minn., died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at her home.
A funeral service was held on Friday, Jan. 9 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Country Faith Church in rural Clearbrook.
Stennis Funeral Home of East Grand Forks assisted the family with arrangements.
She was born Aug. 6, 1965, to Keith and Maxine (Sheppard) Driscoll in Grand Forks, N.D. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in 1984. She attended the University of Minnesota-Crookston. She was employed at Parkwood Place.
She married Steve Nelson June 27, 1992, in East Grand Forks. They lived in Port Charlotte, Fla., from 1997-2006. They moved back to East Grand Forks and she worked at Lowe's in Grand Forks. Steve died Aug. 29, 2006.
She married Wayne Mondt Jan. 19, 2007, in Clearbrook. They lived in Clearbrook.
She is survived by her husband; daughter, Catharyn Anne of Clearbrook; parents; stepchildren, Carlene (Chris) Holmvick, Douglas Mondt of Clearbrook and Dustin (Megan) Mondt of Bemidji; siblings, Linda Mahoney of Burnsville, Minn.; Dianne (Pat) Phaneuf of East Grand Forks, Rebecca (Steve) Yanisch of Minneapolis, Minn., Nancy Driscoll of Delafield, Wis., Jeffrey (Robin) Driscoll of Tucson, Ariz., Gregory (Barb) Driscoll of East Grand Forks, Margi (John) Zavoral of East Grand Forks, and Donovan (Kathleen) Driscoll, of Moorpark, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn; a brother, Brian; and grandparents, Harry and Annabel Sheppard and Leonard and Gert Driscoll.
