BEMIDJI – The Sanford Center Advisory Board approved guidelines Monday on how to use the center’s angel fund.

Curtis Webb, the center’s executive director, previously explained the fund could be used to balance the budget in case the center lost money on a show, or to bring events here.

Webb said there was $45,000 in the fund for this fiscal year. He said he would eventually like to have $100,000 a year in the fund.

The finalized policy requires the advisory board to approve submitted recommendations for using the fund.

“Show net profits will be added back into the fund with the hopes that the fund will grow and allow us to do more shows within the fiscal year,” the policy states.
