The Trevor Andrews rink of Bemidji leads the field at the Minnesota Regional Junior Curling Tournament as the rink owned a 4-0 record prior to Friday's late round.

Because of Friday's early Pioneer deadlines caused by the winter storm, results of the late draw were unavailable at press time.

Thursday night Andrews thumped Noah Fiskness 11-2. In Friday's action he stopped Tanner Blagoue 6-2 and Eric Johannsen 13-5.

The rink includes three Bemidji curlers: Trevor Andrews, Nic Wagner and Mark Fenner.

In the win over Blagoue Andrews forged a 1-0 lead in the second and took control with single steals in the third and fourth ends. Blagoue drew within 3-1 in the fifth but Andrews put the game on ice with single markers in the sixth and seventh ends.

Against Johanssen Andrews used three huge ends to take charge as it scored four in the fourth, seventh and ninth ends.

Josh Bahr of Bemidji is curling with the Aaron Wald rink and the team was 3-0 heading into Friday's late round.

Wald tipped Tayler Ausen 12-3 Thursday and belted Blagoue 12-4 Friday afternoon.

In the latter victory Wald spotted Blagoue a 1-0 lead in the opening end but answered with two in the second and four in the third.

The Johannsen rink of Bemidji was 0-4 following Friday's afternoon draw. The team includes Eric Johannsen, Micah Johnson, Joel Johannsen and Brian Oakes.

On Thursday the rink lost 12-10 to Blagoue and Friday morning it was nipped 5-4 by Tony Wright. In Friday's afternoon session the squad lost to Andrews 13-5.

In the women's division the Rachel Humeniuk rink is 1-3.
