Anderson assumes command

Army Lt. Col. Curtis T. Anderson II has assumed command of the Army Forces Battalion.

Anderson, a commander with 17 years of military service, is assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras.

He is the son of Curtis and Wanda Anderson of Blackduck.

Anderson graduated in 1987 from Blackduck High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1991 from Bemidji State University. He earned a master's degree in 2008 from Webster University at Pope Air Force Base near Fayetteville, N.C.
