Those two teams knocked the Bemidji Blue Ox out of state tournament contention during the district meet held in Bemidji earlier this month.

Roseau, the top seed from District 10, earned a first-round bye at the 48-team state tournament and will begin its quest for a title Aug. 25 against the winner of Friday’s game between Richmond and Prior Lake.

Ada will be involved in first-round action and will face Bird Island on Saturday. If the A’s win that game they will advance to a game against St. Patrick on Aug. 26.

The tournament’s third round will be Sept. 1 while the quarterfinals and semifinals are scheduled for Sept. 2.

The championship contest will be on Labor Day.
