As part of Women’s History Month in March, BSU is hosting its Women in Leadership week, featuring workshops at noon at the American Indian Resource Center on campus, as well as other activities. On Tuesday, Bemidji Mayor Rita Albrecht led a workshop on civic engagement and female equality in politics. On Monday, Dr. Jeanine Gangeness led a discussion on health and today’s speaker will be Sarah LaBraaten on entrepreneurship. On Thursday, MaryAnn Reitmeir and Mary Thrash will present on community service. Also, there will be free screenings of the movies “Rosie the Riveter” at 7 p.m. Thursday and “Thatcher — Iron Lady” at 7 p.m. Friday, both in Hagg-Sauer 100.
