Albert Fradenburgh 77, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2012 at his home in Bismark, ND surrounded by loved ones. A Memorial Service was held at Baker, MT where he had lived for 25 years. The graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m.Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Moose Creek Cemetery south of Shevlin, MN.

Albert was born at home on the family farm in Moose Creek Township south of Shevlin, MN on July 18, 1935 to George and Adah Fradenburgh. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Bagley High School in 1952. He married Julia (Judy) McDonald on June 23, 1956. The couple moved to Havre, MT where Albert worked for Safeway. They moved to Kenosha, WI to live the winter of 1959-60 before moving back to Bemidji,. MN. Their next move was to Kingman, AZ where Albert worked for Jim Cassidy (Rosella's husband) in the glass and welding business. During the summer of 1966 they moved to Glasgow, MT where Albert worked for Stan's Glass. While working there, he was involved in an industrial accident that took his left arm. As part of his rehabilitation, the family moved to Billings, MT for Albert to attend school. In 1970 he graduated with a degree in accounting. He got a job with Roland Thomas Accounting Services in Baker, MT. Baker became their home for the next 25 years. While in Baker, he also worked at the Montana Bank of Baker and then at Newell Lumber where a back injury forced his early retirement in 1996.

Albert's hobbies were fishing and gardening. It was at Sandstone Reservoir where he caught what he referred to as his "Fish of a Lifetime" a Northern Pike that weighed a little over 9 lbs and was almost 42" in length. It was a "Whopper" for that area and he was proud to be the one to land it.

After his retirement, they moved to Rapid city, SD until after Judy's retirement. Their next move was to Garrison, ND in 2005 where they both enjoyed friends and were involved with their church. In the spring of 2010 they moved to Bismark, ND to be closer to Medical Facilities for Albert's care.

Albert is survived by his wife, Judy, of 56 years and his children Steve (Connie) Fradenburgh of Baker, MT, Scott (Brenda) Fradenburgh of Glendive MT, Cindy (Ernie) Scheetz of Baker, MT, and Shawn (Dawn) Fradenburgh of Garrison, ND,. Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Daryl and one sister, Sharon (Richard) Sand. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Lorie, parents, George and Adah, sisters Rosella and Nellie, brothers Allen, Raymond, Larry and Everett.
