Advance tickets for 'Taste of Northern Minnesota' now on sale

Tickets for the 19th annual Taste of Northern Minnesota are on sale.

The event, featuring more than 25 exhibitors, will have two sessions Jan. 20 in the Sanford Center Ballroom.

Early seating will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. while the late session goes from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Free parking will be available.

Local exhibitors will feature food and beverages, including main dishes, soups, side dishes, deserts and wine.

The event sponsor, The Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce, recommends attendees to purchase tickets in advance at MarketPlace Foods, Lueken's North and South or the Tourist Information Center.

Advance tickets cost $15 or $12 for those 60 and older. Tickets purchased at the event will be $2 more.

The Taste of Northern Minnesota is part of the 2012 Brrrrrmidji Polar Daze celebration.
