Accident near Bemidj injures three

The Minnesota State Patrol and the Beltrami County Sheriff's Department responded to an accident at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and state Highway 89. Samantha Krostue, 26, of Hermantown, Minn., was westbound on Highway 2 when her 2010 Corolla was struck by a 2002 Buick LeSabre driven by Dale Miller, 88, of Leonard, who failed to yield at the Highway 89 intersection. Both drivers and Miller's passenger, Louise Miller, 87, were transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Monte Draper | Bemidji Pioneer
