$5,000 reward offered in Red Lake burglary investigation

ST. PAUL, MN -- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Red Lake Tribal Police Department today announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the burglary of firearms from the Court complex on the Red Lake Indian Reservation on or about April 27, 2009. The reward is being funded by ATF.

"Stolen firearms are th e tools of those who victimize our communities," said Bernard J. Zapor, Special Agent in Charge of ATF's St. Paul Field Division.
