5 Bemidji area runners signed up for Boston Marathon

BEMIDJI - Five area runners are signed up to run the 2012 Boston Marathon.

Most runners must meet age-time qualifying standards in a previous marathon on a certified course.

The following runners are signed up for the marathon:

Timberly Christiansen, 35, of Bemidji

Mark Dwyer, 54, of Bemidji

Lee A. Hanson, 53, of Bemidji

Mark I. Peske, 55, of Bemidji

Daniel W. Bjorkstrand, 48, of Guthrie

The Boston Marathon, in its 116th year, is run the third Monday of April each year.
