4 arrested for theft in Cass, Hubbard counties

WALKER — Four people were arrested on Thursday in connection with stolen vehicles and property from the Walker, Backus, Hackensack and Longville areas.

At 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office assisted a Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer who came into contact with five individuals in proximity of the stolen items, which were located near a walking trail in the Longville area. 

Cole CrandellCole John Crandell, 25, of Akeley; Jamie Lynn Addison, 27, of Minneapolis; Jennifer Danielle Delp, 27 of Akeley; and Rachel Elizabeth Reeves, 27, of Minneapolis, were detained and transported to the Cass County Detention Center. One unidentified man fled the scene.

A search warrant conducted on Saturday at a residence in Akeley revealed stolen items including a boat, trailers, construction tools, ATV’s, utility vehicles and household items.

A man was taken into custody after the search and transported to the Hubbard County Detention Center. His name was not released.

Jamie AddisonOfficials said the investigation is ongoing and formal charges are pending.
