32 pot plants, cash seized in bust

ROSEAU — Police confiscated 32 marijuana plants and a large amount of cash during a Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension drug bust in rural Roseau.

Charges were expected to be filed Tuesday, according to the Roseau County Sheriff’s Department.

The plants and currency were recovered Friday during the execution of a search warrant at the rural home, according to Sheriff Steve Gust, who added that the case remains under investigation.

BCA officers were assisted by Roseau County Sheriff’s Department deputies, the Roseau Police Department and U.S. Border Patrol.
