Red Lake receives two new ambulances
The Red Lake Government Center recently received a second pair of new ambulances on Jan. 30. The two ambulances will be assigned to Red Lake and Ponemah.
Red Lake also received two ambulances on Dec. 20. Eugene "Bugger" McArthur, who helped arrange the purchase with Kathy Luepke of the United States Department of Agriculture, said the ambulances were paid for with a combination of a USDA loan and grant. Upon delivery, Fire Safety USA representative Dale Trettel demonstrated the use of the "power pro" cot and stretcher, as well as other amenities of the new ambulances.
