WSN announces new shareholders

Bryan Balcome and James Megel recently became the two newest shareholders of Widseth Smith Nolting.

Balcome, land surveying coordinator in the firm's Alexandria office, joined Widseth Smith Nolting in 2006 with 11 years of land surveying experience. He is a professional land surveyor in Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. His background includes performance and oversight of boundary surveys, title analysis, expert witness testimony, commercial and residential development projects, public surveying, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, communication tower surveys, and control surveys.

Megel, chief financial officer and certified public accountant, joined the firm in 2008 with 28 years of experience. He is primarily responsible for managing and directing the firm's financial functions including appraising the firm's financial position; financial analysis and reporting; corporate budgets; development of financial strategies, plans, and goals; administering pension and profit sharing plans as well as the firm's insurance program and project invoicing.
