John Parmeter, a safety compliance officer with the Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School, describes how water would leak through the school's walls when it would rain while giving a tour on Wednesday. Royal White searches for a pair of women's shoes to wear Wednesday for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event beginning at TrekNorth High School. During the event, which was hosted by hosted by Support Within Reach, men wore high-heeled women's shoes and marched as a sign of solidarity with victims of violence and assault.
