Police and fire report for Aug. 26
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
5:45 p.m. Monday, 1100 block of America Avenue Northwest. A red and yellow Schwinn pull-behind bike trailer was stolen. The loss is valued at $150.
11:43 a.m. Tuesday, 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. An iPod Nano, Belkin car adapter and Samsung flip cell phone were stolen.
12:42 p.m. Tuesday, 300 block of Grant Avenue Southeast. Two bikes - a Roadmaster mountain and a Dynacraft - were stolen.
4:05 p.m. Tuesday, 800 block of 20th Street Northwest.
11:02 p.m. Tuesday, Ninth Street Northwest and America Avenue Northwest.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
8:56 a.m. Monday, Scribner Road Northwest. Two checks totaling $58.15 were written on someone's account without authorization.
Gas drive-off theft
1:02 p.m. Tuesday, 100 block of Convenience Lane Southeast.
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
11:56 a.m. Tuesday, U.S. Highway 71 and Oak Hill Road. A gas line was hit by construction crews.
4:53 a.m. Tuesday, 500 block of America Avenue Northwest. Medical call.
5:03 p.m. Tuesday, 2100 block of Deep Rock Loop Southwest. Public assist.
6:08 p.m. Tuesday, 3200 block of Wolf Lake Drive Southeast. Kitchen fire. Twenty-five firefighters were on scene with six trucks for about 30 minutes.
11:10 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of Park Avenue Northwest. Medical call.
