Police and fire report for Nov. 13
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
3:14 p.m. Wednesday, 200 block of Gemmel Avenue Southwest. A man was belligerent with dispatchers when he called to report a stolen boat. When an officer went to his residence to learn more about the possible theft, the man poked the officer in the chest, causing him or her to go backward. The man was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.
10:06 p.m. Wednesday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest. Three juveniles were arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault following a report of a fight in which a weapon may have been involved.
1:45 p.m. Wednesday, 1000 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest.
2:12 p.m. Wednesday, 400 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest.
3:32 p.m. Wednesday, 100 block of Third Street Northwest.
Gas drive-off theft
3:55 p.m. Wednesday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Pete's Place South. A woman was arrested on suspicion of theft. Five cartons of cigarettes were reportedly taken.
11:58 a.m. Wednesday, Manor Court Southwest.
